ScientificCommons has launched online, the website aims to be a single port of call for accessing freely available scientific information that is published using open access models.

IEEE signs archiving agreement with Portico

Non-profit electronic archiving service provider Portico has announced an agreement with Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) to preserve the organisation’s periodicals and conference proceedings. Under the agreement, Portico will preserve IEEE’s 137 periodicals and 163 conference proceedings for future generations of scholars, practitioners, researchers and students.
